There's more to Jesus than meets the eye.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, Savior of all who will believe in Him and ask His forgiveness, and He wants YOU to live with Him forever.

A poem about the true
meaning of "Christianity"

"I am a Christian"
(author unknown)

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not shouting "I'm clean livin'"
I'm whispering "I was lost",
Now I'm found and forgiven.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble
and need CHRIST to be my guide.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak
and need HIS strength to carry on.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed
and need God to clean my mess.

When I say.... "I am a Christian"
I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible but,
God believes I am worth it.

When I say.... "I am a Christian"
I still feel the sting of pain,
I have my share of heartaches
So I call upon His name.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner who
received God's good grace,
somehow.

Translucent Jesus with pretty sunset behind & caption (John 6:47) 'I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life.'
HOW DO WE KNOW HE LOVES US?  "God demonstrates
His Love for US... that while we were still sinners Christ Died
FOR us." (Romans 5:6-11)  "For us" means "in our places".
Each individual person reading this can interpret it that, "God
demonstrates His Love for ME... that while I am still a sinner,
Christ Died for ME, in MY place!"  Isn't that awesome?

That doesn't mean your body won't die, because it will. It means
that when you accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior,
then your Sprit will never die.  You will go on to live with Jesus,
in Heaven. To put some humor on it, it's like Jesus asking you
"Where will you be sitting in eternity?  Smoking or non-smoking?"
Share this with somebody who already has this understanding, as
reinforcement.  But more importantly, share this with those who
may not have a clear understanding of what it means to be a
Christian, so that the myth that Christians think they are "perfect"
or "better than others" can be dispelled.

It is generally accepted that you can read the New testament book of John first. [ Matthew, Mark, Luke, John ]   The book of John is often referred to as "The book of Love".
